Nora Palmisano Conway passed away at home on March 15. Born in Montana , Nora grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from St. Joan Antida high school.
She worked as administrative staff at WTMJ TV and WRIT/WBCS Radio.
She met her husband Bill at WBCS in 1977. Their’s became a 48 year love story and 46 year marriage. She raised a beautiful daughter Michelle who in turn had two sons.
Work took her family across the country to live in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Tulsa, Charlotte, Seattle, San Antonio, San Diego and for 15 years in San Francisco.
Nora was a valued employee of the US Postal Service and in banking and digital gene technology industries.
She had an uncannily skill for slot machines that provided many fabulous times in Las Vegas. Nora enjoyed travel across the country as well as visiting Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Canada and Mexico. Hawaii and Alaska were two of her favorite destinations.
After retirement Nora and Bill settled in Palm Springs.
She touched and impacted many with her generosity, intelligence, kindness, strength and incredible sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband Bill, her daughter Michelle Dawkins, grandsons Dylan Dawkins and Devin Dawkins, her sisters Rosie Foti and Elsa Brzowski, her grandpuppy Daisy, 14 nieces and nephews and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary, her father Gaetano, mother-in-law Elise, brothers-in-law Jack Foti and Don Brzowski and half siblings Butch Safford, George Safford Jr. and Peggy Klein.

Miguel “Mike” Sotelo passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Bermuda Dunes, California. He was born on May 20, 1925, in Livingston, California, and lived a remarkable life spanning 100 years.
A proud veteran of World War II, Mike served in the United States Army in Alaska. Following his service, he settled in the Coachella Valley, where he met the love of his life, his wife Sally. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children.
Mike worked as a construction laborer for many years and took great pride in his hard work and dedication. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family. He had a deep love for music, especially mariachi, and found great joy in family gatherings. Mike was a natural storyteller who loved sharing his life experiences and adventures with those around him.
He was a proud patriot, a devoted family man, and a source of strength and wisdom to all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Margaret (Art) Valdez and Mary (Ray) Fraijo; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sally; his son, Mike; his daughter, Lori; his grandchildren, Paul and Elaine; as well as two brothers and four sisters.
Mike leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a lasting legacy of love. He will live on forever in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Margarita Stella Torres, 74, of Provo, Utah, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Yucca Valley, California.
She was born on November 26, 1951. Margarita lived a life centered on family, love, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the care she gave to those around her.
Margarita is survived by her two daughters and one son, as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on through the generations of family she cherished so deeply.
